Ingredients:
Half a kilo of flour (3 and a half cups of flour)
One teaspoon of salt
One tablespoon of milk
One egg
One cup of warm water
Two tablespoons of syrup
Three tablespoons of oil
The dough is prepared by adding the ingredients and kneading them. Two tablespoons of oil are added during the kneading process, and one tablespoon is kept for the end after adding the yeast mixture. Continue kneading until the dough is ready.
The dough is then cut into cubes, and a little flour is sprinkled on top. The dough should rest for one to two hours.
The filling consists of tender meat, with a little green onion, green pepper, and tomato added. Add one tablespoon of tomato paste, one teaspoon of seven spices, one teaspoon of mint, and finally add parsley. The filling is almost ready.
Roll the dough out lengthwise and place it on a tray. Wet it with a little milk and make small openings in the dough using a fork. Add the filling and press it with a spoon, then place a piece of the pita dough on a baking tray. Let it rest for one and a half hours before baking. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for no more than 15 minutes. The dish is ready to serve at that time.
